Funny place for a tree. Is it still alive. No shortage for water then.
ReplyDeleteYes... alive. This was a man made planting rather than nature takes it's course planting.
DeleteLet them roll in!
ReplyDeleteWonderful waves and fantastic place to wait something.. :).
ReplyDeleteA bit amazing to see how big the tree managed to grow.. It's a lake so no salt water I suppose.
ReplyDeleteLake Ontario.
DeleteVery clever pun! Plus I LOVE the tree and the rolling waves. Super photo.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! That treemust be feeling chilled!
ReplyDeleteGot a laugh out of your comment. This is obviously a tree species that does not drown easily. Is Lake Ontario rising?
ReplyDeleteIt is a poplar tree. Yes... good old Lake Ontario.
DeleteA poplar tree! Could not have guessed. It seems to be sitting cross legged with it's back to the lake.
DeleteExquisite!
ReplyDeleteMy eyes immediately catch the froth, the perfect horizon, and the different textures.
Funny guy. I do like the image.
ReplyDeleteAmazing that the tree still stands.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrrr.... But I like it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you waved back.
ReplyDeleteVery funny!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great catch, Andy!
ReplyDeleteGood thing she didn't wave too hard. It looks chilly.
ReplyDeleteFun comment and good shot. 8-)
Beautiful! Great place for a tree.
ReplyDeleteHa -- good one! Looks…frigid.
