That makes you remember very well I think! Original way to express.
ReplyDeleteSame for us Andy. I wonder if that suit is the leave symbol of Canada or a flame that burns beneath your feet as a last reminder to confess everything on your financial income last year.
ReplyDeleteWe have similar idiots standing on street corners waving flags, etc., to try to entice people to bring their tax work in to a particular company. I think if you have to resort to such advertising you're on a long downhill slide already!
ReplyDeleteTax Man would have been a tad late with his taxes if he were living here. Probably would be behind bars. :-)
ReplyDelete...we also have Liberty Tax Service, a strange name.
ReplyDeleteTaxes - Must there be a reminder on every street? Our unofficial state slogan is 'Pennsylvania, Land of Taxes'.
ReplyDeleteThe "greeter" is probably happier than some of the taxpayers.
ReplyDeleteNot sure these costumes bring in people to have their taxes done, but they sure are visually interesting.
ReplyDeleteWe got a few days extra this year too but that was because of some obscure holiday in Washington D.C.
ReplyDeleteThis guy wants you to believe that tax is something nice.
ReplyDeleteA nice ad for a reminder for paying your taxes on time. It looks cold there by the way people are dressed. Didn't know that 7-11 was also in Canada, thought it was just in the US.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I would chose the name 'liberty' to be associated with a tax filing service....
ReplyDeleteThey've got one of these people here outside the same chain. I had my taxes done in early March.
ReplyDeleteIs he supposed to be a maple leaf? Fun capture!
ReplyDeleteHere in the USA, we have already met our deadline. Fun times...not so much....
ReplyDeleteHi again, Andy. Re your question on Ocala: Red went out for coffee this morning and no one has seen him since!😜
ReplyDeleteThe Liberty Tax Service people in the U.S. are dressed up like the Statue of Liberty. As costumes go I think the maple leaf would be less embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteIt's the end of the financial year for us right now but that guy in the photo look like he stands out real well.
