I find that if you ask, most people (strangers) will let you take their picture. The smile was my reward for asking. |

Very nice portrait Andy. Better a smile then an angry face.
ReplyDelete...million dollar smile!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portrait and lovely smile. I like !
ReplyDeleteI have great difficulty asking strangers this question, great smile
ReplyDeleteI have found the same thing ... in fact, some people take on funny poses. This is a great smile!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a friendly and handsome smile it is!
ReplyDeleteGood portrait!
ReplyDeleteThat is one great smile. Great portrait, Andy and very expressive.
ReplyDeleteAnd a nice smile it is!
ReplyDeleteNice and friendly.
ReplyDeleteThat a wonderful portrait and a great smile.
ReplyDeleteThe smile makes for a great portrait. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great smile, and nice job making him feel comfortable enough to capture this portrait!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and lovely smile.
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to take street portraits. But strangely enough I can still get nervous sometimes when I ask someone, even after shooting 900 street portraits.
ReplyDeleteHis smile made a smile also to me. Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteNice smile, Andy. I love to begin conversations with strangers to see what kind of rapport I can develop. (I'll also bet that if you crop inward from the top right corner, you will find that you like the image even better . . . his body is aimed to the left and there are nice lines leading to the bottom left, which would be emphasized by placing his face higher and to the right.)
