Thank you for the explanatory note. I like the expression of this portrait, and I adore Scot.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun is that, they skate in skirts? With nothing underneath? :))
ReplyDeleteI love ice skating, but doing it in a short skirt seems...ill-advised!
ReplyDeletethis Floridian says, 'No thanks. Not one bit.'
ReplyDeleteOkay. There's an explanation for everything I guess. Not sure it makes much sense. I wouldn't be seen in a kilt if it kilt me!
ReplyDelete...drafty?
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo! However, all I can think of is falling on the ice (which I would surely do) and landing with bare skin on the ice. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteWhat is kept does not die.
ReplyDeleteKilt Skate! How fun...falling might be a little cold...
ReplyDeleteA kilt skate is a new one to me!
ReplyDeleteI never heard about this, Andy!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you missed out. They were giving out free slices of cake.
DeleteSkating in a kilt, might be interesting to watch
ReplyDeleteWe need some kilts in my area. Plenty of Scottish heritage.
ReplyDeleteI have worn kilts to parties, but I am not sure they mix well with ice skates. Great shot. Is he wearing his long underwear?
