The bar’s two story facade is stenciled with a giant black and turquoise mural. The name and facade pay tribute to Queen St. West's network of graffiti alleys. I took the photo in 2017... but since then the Rush Lane closed for ever on January 27, 2019.

...this joint sure is easy to spot!
ReplyDeleteI love the mural but it seems a shame to know it has closed.
ReplyDeleteLove that photograph of a most unusual and lovely place.
ReplyDeleteI always liked that mural. So many places are going to be gone forever.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame this bar is gone as the mural is terrific. It does show a sinking ship which turns out to be symbolic of the business. Perhaps after Covid another bar will open here?
ReplyDeleteI love the mural but sad that the place is no longer.
ReplyDeletenice mural, I love how the distorted reflection looks like another mural.
ReplyDeleteI do like the mural.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous mural, I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteIt's losing places like this that suck much of the color out of our lives--- and our lives haven't had much color for a while. I do hope we will all be living with more "color" before another year goes by. Stay safe, Andy.
ReplyDeleteWonderful mural and sorry to know that place is closed.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice facade, hope it has been saved.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if it is a sinking ship or not. But of course good street photography.
ReplyDeleteWhat a quaint little place with unique artwork. It's a shame that it's closed now. At least you have photos of it!
