Swan Body Language

You have probably seen swans with their wings raised like sails. This behaviour is a mild form of threat display called busking. Swans not only use it to deter potential predators, but also as a threat against intruding swans, before lunging or chasing them out of their territory.

  7. They can express a lot with their wings. Have you ever heard them flying low over? That makes a lot of noise!
