If you are Leaf's fan you will understand the message. The last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup was in 1967. This season the National Hockey League owners have locked out their players over a contract dispute. This good news for the Leafs... they will lose less games.

Yes indeed.
ReplyDeleteI started to watch The leafes with my day. When they had the hot stove talk .
With the real oldies.
Then when they branched ou to so many teams. I loss interest.
My son-laws' dad was a player many years ago.
A Timgren. He has since died.
The love of Hockey still went on with son-law and my Grandson .
Shame what money can do to players or who is
involved with the lock out. Greed.
Thanks for sharing Andy. My sons name is Andrew but for short. Andy.
It's awfully tough being a Leaf's fan, but they always fill the arena. Or would if they were actually playing. Very nice shot.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard being a Leaf fan, I remember '67 well!!
ReplyDeleteIt's all mostly football in the U.S. but hockey seems a much more interesting game to me.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture - a Toronto-based colleague mentions this team and I can see how they generate a lot of talk!
ReplyDeletegood for you for finding a silver lining!
ReplyDeleteha, how funny?
ReplyDeleteHANG IN THERE!!!
