  3. oh this is such a beautiful photo...we don't have this much color here with the change of the seasons...ever...it is so lovely. I posted ducks today also....well aren't we both feeling quite 'ducky' today :)

  12. Love the textures and colours in this photo. I'm really curious about those birds. Are they domestic geese?

    1. They are. I photographed them at the Arva Flour Mill. The owner supplies them with food. The dark coloured ones are new to me. I guess I should get out more often.

  13. Wow! What a gorgeous shot! You've got some perfect fall colors there, and the geese really cooperated, too. The dark ones look similar to our Canada geese, but their markings are different. I wonder if there are eastern and western varieties. . .
