  3. These so break my heart, they are a part of our very fiber.

There's always amazing light streaming inside from the opening in the boards.

  5. Nice you have so many barns to take. They have characterand charm. I think and I do like

    barns.

Great Beauty shot! I love how you got right across the fullness and the trees in back.

Then you brought out the front of the land to its fulllnes close up. Excellent.

I do enjoy your pictures. I wish you would have your email so I can talk to you.

I cannot here. Too bad. I guess that is the way you have decided to do so.

  6. How wonderful that you included that bit of the ground, love the depth it lends to the picture. There's something very melancholy but beautiful about these somewhat abandoned places.

  7. Great perspective. Getting low may be hard on the knees (for me anyway!), but it sure adds to a shot.

  9. if we do not do some work on ours soon, it may qualify for a shot like this. we do not have a silo...but we do have the old shed where the owners kept their first gas driven car. our place dates back to the horse and buggy days. this is a really nice capture. the colors are wonderful. genie

  12. Here in the upper Midwest barns are disappearing at a great rate. Farmers seldom keep horses or dairy cattle any longer, so the main function of a barn has disappeared. They are being replaced by pole buildings to house machinery. It is sad, as one era in agriculture gives way to another.
