It is a funny old building and it makes on wonder what its original use was.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a like a very closed building, no doors or windows, but probably on the other side. The drive-thru is rather small indeed.
ReplyDeleteYeh what was the purpose. Was there a hole in the ceiling of the gate to pick something up from a wagon.
ReplyDeleteIf you look carefully you will see a door on the right hand side and it's not at ground level. That usually means it's some kind of shipping and receiving door.
DeleteIt's intriguing. I think you must be right, especially when you explained about the door.
ReplyDeleteA good photo invites speculation. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteQuite an interesting picture. Well seen and captured.
ReplyDeleteInteresting find, Andy!
ReplyDeleteIt's very cool they kept the original structure - I'd love to know who used it once. (Here in the U.S., they'd be so quick to demolish an old building, sadly).
ReplyDeleteinteresting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great discovery, Andy!
ReplyDeletethat little modern window up top looks very out of place.
ReplyDeleteGreat find! I've never seen anything quite like this.
