    I love the new 'buy local" mentality of many people. Produce farmers here are having a hard time, tho, because of the wet spring. According to the local newspapers, some planting will never be done, 10% of the corn crop has not and will not be planted...tough time for some farmers.

    Love it, buying local is not too hard here because we (luckily) have quite a lot of working farms. The local movement is spreading, happily!
