Lovely building. Somebody should renovate that sign. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteI love all the different textures in this photo - the wood, stone, metal roof, shrubs... This is a charming old building!
ReplyDeleteHey, I know where that is!
ReplyDeleteWonderful ghost sign. Karen is correct. Fine textures and color. Too bad these small mills are no longer operating, but large scale agribusiness has eliminated them.
ReplyDeleteI love these old barns and love that this is now protected!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Fabulous building, Andy!
ReplyDeleteA lovely old building. Would make a perfect residence for someone with lots of money and architectural sense.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the Peers family. We have a Coors family that's in the beer business, though.
I'll bet this one has a long story behind it!
ReplyDeleteFantastic ghost signs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious faded sign you found. Yes, I'm sure a lot of stories here!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super old building- very cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool-looking building! I love the way it is situated on the lot, with the pond right there. This is a very interesting photo - love the slant of the roof, the different textures of the barn, and all that greenery!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great looking building. I wish the sign were restored so we could see what the rest of it says.
