Sounds like your wife may be a crafty sort of person.
ReplyDeleteWe have micheals around here, just went and bought some supplies for my next photography project there last week!
ReplyDeleteIf you like to make things, all kinds of things, this is the place for you. I kind of wish we had a brand new store like this. The one I go to is looking a bit over-stuffed and worn.
ReplyDeleteOh I love Michael's too. My daughter when I visit her. She has it 10 minutes by car to get there. My second home. I could be in there forever while hubby goes to Canadian Tire. Men can walk for hours in there so gives me time in there. I get my cards and envelopes there. They have specials near Christmas and alot of specials.
ReplyDeleteYou and wife are in our glory alright.
Oh, it's a fun place alright, so be prepared for a long wait while she's in there. I may be wrong, but I seem to remember something about a bench for waiting husbands. Maybe that was at Christmas time. Women go bananas in Michaels in November.
ReplyDeleteK
They must be doing well, as one just opened up near me, too. It is right across the street from a Hobby Lobby, so we'll see how that goes.
ReplyDeleteAnother 21st century phenomenon I don't understand. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd share her enthusiasm, though we have a small family-owned craft store here that generally fills the bill. The big box scale can be dazzling.
ReplyDeleteUh oh... Hug your wife goodbye right now... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am not a crafty person by any means, but every now and then I can walk into one and be there for ages marvelling at all the craft supplies I never knew existed. Now, I can also just as easily walk into a Home Depot and spend ages wandering around marvelling at all the nuts and bolts and myriad plumbing supplies.
