I went down into this ravine to photograph a beaver dam. I was stopped dead in my tracks by theses plants. There were so many of them that I had to turn back. I don't know what they are but I'm pretty sure they are not the dreaded hogweed.

I'm sure it's not hogweed. The flowers look pretty, but I can't tell the name either.
ReplyDeleteTo be stopped by plants is remarkable. But that are the laws of the jungle.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that nature can be on the winning side.
DeleteWhatever they are, they are attractive.
ReplyDeleteThey look familiar but I don't remember the name. So why didn't you just plow through them?
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: That's the first I've noticed this Chinese restaurant but your comment made me it might be part of a large chain.
They look like an invasive of some kind!
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous field!
ReplyDeleteoh they are in my area everywhere. They are a pretty nature flower.
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew what they were - I'm seeing them around where I'm staying this month and they are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHope you finally got to the dam!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping someone had a name for these. Thankfully, I'm not familiar with them. The leaves almost look like mint. Too bad they have taken over so - they're rather pretty in an innocent picture. (But a beaver dam would sure be cool.)
ReplyDeleteI like them! We have some wild flowers (weeds) growing along the woods in our yard - I bring them in and put them in a vase. Hey, pretty is pretty.
ReplyDeleteThey are sort of pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like milkweed to me.
