To remember the fallen hasn't stopped the world to build more and more memorials. Its real a pity .
ReplyDeleteBoth of your posts today are visual tributes to so many fallen heroes.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad day.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what it's called, it's important that we take the opportunity to remember those who served.
ReplyDeleteIt is Veterans Day here. This is a lovely memorial. I like those golden leaves on the ground too.
ReplyDeleteIt seems more poignant this year, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the mural - I will have to venture to the other side of Yonge St one day soon. ;-)
May we always remember.
ReplyDeleteQuite a good memorial. It reminds me of one here.
ReplyDeleteSadly we need more and more surfaces and monuments to honor the fallen. And the U.S. just keeps marching off to wars...
ReplyDeleteA simple and yet effective memorial.
ReplyDeleteLest we forget...
ReplyDeleteLest we forget Any. Great! My dad fought in world war 2 and my two brothers.
ReplyDeleteTwo came back wounded. One in the leg and the other had his ear drum busted. .
