Yes it is now possible to make these shots. I remember myself in the sixties on a bridge with a twin lens yashica D on tripod to made a shot like this of course still in B&W. From the 12 perhaps 2 were a bit useable and my night photography was buried again for a long time. Yours is a real gem. I like it.
ReplyDeleteYes that's the way it is for many people, day after day.
ReplyDeleteTraffic isn't too bad yet.
ReplyDeleteYou shot this from a moving car?? Explain.
ReplyDeleteNo... I am standing on a bridge.
DeleteYou nailed it Andy as usual. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteLovely early morning light.
ReplyDeleteIf I look at the picture long enough those cars start to move! And I can look at it as long as I want because I don't have to go to work anymore.
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate enough that I was able to bicycle to work. I admire you getting up in the wee hours of the morning when you don't really have to.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful that time of day!
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks like a beautiful day ahead! Super shot, Andy!
ReplyDeletethis is pretty! nowadays when i goto work its still very dark... :(
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThis traffic looks like a breeze compared to California's.
ReplyDeleteI am going to take some photos of the highway where it passes through Toronto. That's where the the real traffic is.
DeleteDark going to work, dark coming home ... Oh yeah, I remember November workdays. Very pretty dawn there thouhb
ReplyDeleteBest thing about that is you do not have to get up too early to catch the sunrise.
DeleteI remember those days . . .
ReplyDeleteMe too. I enjoyed them but I still would not want to do them over again.
DeleteThe word "vast" comes to my mind.
