Do you have snow on the ground now, Andy? We had bare ground on January 2nd too but now we have a thin layer of snow. Often we have snow and you have none or very little even though you don't live very far south of where I live.
ReplyDeleteThere is a very light dusting of snow on the ground. It's the bitter cold that is bugging me.
DeleteAlways like a bend in the road. A kind of promise to discover more when you go there.
ReplyDeleteThe landscape could be here as well, it looks the same, no snow and very flat. Nice those black trees.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot Andy.
ReplyDeleteHallo Andy,
ReplyDeletevery nice composition and light !
have a nice week end , saluti from Italy
This is another of your photos with all the right elements to make it very special. It could easily be turned into a painting. The eye follows that road down and around the turn into the vanishing point of light. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteRe your question on Ocala: I doubt they'd take Canadian money. They'd probably take Canadian gold, though!
Looking forward to a freezing rain photo as you capture things so well.
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful while it lasted. Bet it is as attractive with light snow, too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot! That sky is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteAnd you wouldn't want to be out there today. I like the diffusion of the sunlight through the clouds
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful shot. I like the little winding road that trails off to the left.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, Andy! We have a sprinkling of snow from yesterday afternoon but it is really cold here in the city too. I hate to go outside! ;-)
ReplyDeleteVery evocative of rural southern Ontario, Andy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely country road! Love this shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view!
ReplyDeleteI love the slice of blue across this shot...and, of course, just about everything else about it, too.
ReplyDeleteThis photo emanates a certain feeling of loneliness.
ReplyDeleteNice shot Andy! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteNice photo!
