You don't get heron's in the pond? Here thats often the case.
ReplyDeleteThere hasn't been any herons around for awhile. The raccoons come at night. I built a special cover made of chicken wire.
DeleteIt is good to have them in, are they Koi Carps?
ReplyDeleteGoldfish.
DeleteSo good of you to take care of these animals during cold weather. That's a pretty big tank!!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so jealous! I love koi ponds....and inside aquariums! We need to see aquarium pictures!
ReplyDeleteHandsome fellow! I bet he'll be glad to be outside again when spring/summer arrives.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have Koi when we lived elsewhere and I do miss that part of my life.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say I hope they've in warmer waters now! Pretty koi!
ReplyDeleteIt must be a ton of work to move them back and forth but totally worth it!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted a Koi pond, I think they are beautiful, especially when compared to their US counterparts, which are not very attractive.
ReplyDeleteNice.. you must enjoy tending to that pond.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what they think during the twice a year transfers from pond to aquarium.
ReplyDeleteHe must be looking forward to spring like the rest of us, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThat's very cool! I'd love to have something like this!
ReplyDeleteAndy, the water is so inviting and the sharp focus is perfect for this beautiful photo.
ReplyDeletebises,
Genie
