I'm smiling, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThat is special!
ReplyDeleteAndy, I had to do a web search on this one. Have never seen a sign like this, but I know of systems like this around here. I could use one this morning, we had snow over night. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteMaybe not only in Canada...I know some sidewalks in some cities in the States have "embedded snow melting" systems.
ReplyDeleteWhat great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt must work as there is no snow in the picture. Wish my sidewalk has an automatic system. My wife has an automatic system. It's me.
ReplyDeleteWe have none of those around here, although we could have used it last week.
ReplyDeleteI have to look up this system since I am unfamiliar with it, but it sounds like something Minnesota could use!
ReplyDeleteI know it's used here and there, and I sometimes wish it was used more here!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be nice to have, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link you sent me. ;-)
Never seen this before. A kind of floor heating in the sidewalk?
ReplyDeleteI have heard of it...but never have seen it!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a sign like this. The words even seem embossed on the ground.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely won't see a sign like this here in Florida!
ReplyDeleteI always wondered why we didn't have this for our road systems, but I suppose it's either too expensive or impractical at this point.
ReplyDeleteThis is new to me, but then, we never get snow. Still and all, really clever. And must cut down on slip and fall law suits. haha. Happy New Year, Andy.
ReplyDeleteIt should be working when there is really snow and you still can see this sign. Otherwise don't lift the pavement.
