Those old cars are so pretty, those are real cars!
ReplyDeleteYes when cars were just still cars.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty. My dad had a brand new 63 when I was 5 yrs old and we came out of church one Sun. night and it and one other car had been stolen. Never did recover it......I wonder???
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what year this is. I think Mildred is pretty close. I had a 66 biscayne but it was just the plain Jane model.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like too many cars ready for the business, but perhaps it is just part of the parking lot.
ReplyDeleteQuite a gem. If there's a problem, it must be under the hood.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it is a '64. It is in great shape, Andy!
ReplyDeleteDon't see many of these around. Waiting for parts, perhaps? It looks like it's got a layer of dust on it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to float to work in that!
ReplyDeleteIt's in great shape!
ReplyDeleteI really like this picture Andy, great use of the chain link fence to me it adds drama..nice car as well
ReplyDeleteA 1964 Chevy Biscayne in good condition commands a high price, but not sure why. These cars were heavy, poor handling, minimal brakes, and soft vague rides. Perhaps it is nostalgia for this long past era that makes these cars in demand. The Biscayne was not the top of the Chevrolet line. Both Impala and Bel Air were higher line models. Always interesting to find 50+ year old cars.
ReplyDeleteLooks like in some movie.
ReplyDeleteVery nice car, but I don't want it..
That car looks like it was babied. (Always interesting to read Taken's comments on anything mechanical . . . he is a living mechanical encyclopedia.)
