Nice trees.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a corn field... ? Looks lovely gold color in the sun.
Great that they still exist here Andy. Now wait until the cornfield and the trees are green again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a corny picture! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the strange place of these trees.
ReplyDeletewell....it sure did make for a beautiful picture!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love trees...even when they are naked
ReplyDeleteSteffie had a photo of his old tree today. Even if this one is "out-of-place" it is a wonder sight, wherever a tree is planted and survives.
ReplyDeleteLaughing at Tom.... :)
ReplyDeleteI believe you. A few years ago I found a corn field on the south east side of Phoenix but well within the city limits.
ReplyDeleteI've been scrolling down your blog - you really do a great job with nature photographs. And it's not often (if ever!) that you see two trees in the middle of a cornfield or a cornfield in the middle of the city!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonder that the trees were left standing in the cornfield. I'm glad they are still there.
ReplyDeleteWould make a nice nesting site for some birds.
ReplyDeleteI bet those two trees provide nice shade once it's covered in leaves.
ReplyDeleteA bit of country in the city, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThey do stand out, but it's a beautiful field! Reminds me of the corn fields in my native state of Michigan.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....could be my neighbor's field.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely skies you are having, I'll bet when the corn and trees are in full swing it looks amazing
ReplyDeleteThose trees need to be there.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly makes for a wonderful composition! (And I'm laughing at Tom, too.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blue sky!
ReplyDeleteA curious location for corn.
ReplyDeleteGod shot Andy!!
