That name could give a lot of misunderstandings in some situations I guess.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice signs, you don't see that often entering a city but in this case it has a funny twist.
ReplyDeleteWhat a welcoming name for a town. I wonder how many people passing through realized the name of the town was Welcome.
ReplyDeleteI would not know that was an actual place just driving down the road and I'd probably think it was a really nice "welcome" sign. Great find!
ReplyDeleteA big and warm welcome!
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered about this sign. My husband argues that it is simply a "welcome" sign.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've heard of it!
ReplyDeleteA new one for me, Andy! Cool!
ReplyDeleteSome towns have interesting and odd names. This one seems friendly. I would also take the next left to check out a place called Garden Hill. With a name like that, it must be a pretty place.
ReplyDeleteWell that clears things up.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it was just a BIG welcome sign to the town. Now I realize it is the name of the town. Nice choice for a name.
ReplyDelete"Welcome to Welcome" would be a great sign.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like welcome!
ReplyDeleteReally? It's called Welcome?
ReplyDeleteOne shouldn't miss seeing that big sign.
ReplyDeleteFor a long time I was confused by this sign ;)
ReplyDeleteI too think it is a welcome sign also but it is nice to be welcomed passing through or just visiting in town.
