  3. Sigh...I always get so tired about all those religions advertisers. Had two Jehova's at my door this morning already, I wasn't even dressed! Live your life and don't bother others with your ideas I should think.

    1. At least on the street like this it is your choice to stop or move on. They make good subjects for photographing.

  8. We do uphold the concept of free speech but that doesn't mean we have to like what some people say or do. These purveyors of religious nonsense are pests even if they make good subject for photography. Sometimes, when I've feeling frisky, I will engage "Christian" evangelists and invariably find they are ignorant tools who know nothing about the bible, the history of Christianity, or even the theology they proclaim.

  9. Religion should be a private thing not something out on a street corner especially that very busy one.

  10. Definitely a lot going on here. This is a scene I've seen in lots of big cities. Personally, I just pass them by. I totally agree with Lowell. A very nice b&w street photo, I like it!

  13. I see there are no donations in the box on this stand. I agree with RedPat. Thankfully local missionaries seem to have given up coming to our door. Last time it was a pair of fresh faced teenage girls who looked like Cheerleaders for Jesus.

  15. I try my best to steer clear of anyone pushing any kind of religion on the street. But this subject does make a fine street photo.
