Perhaps some apples for the grab now.
ReplyDeleteA lonely survivor. I don't mind your snow photos, we are plunged in winter suddenly again, but now snow, only ice and cold.
ReplyDeleteAs here, this apple tree waits that the spring comes to find its sheets but he is beautiful so quite stripped
ReplyDeleteBeautiful just the same! Rather haunting, too.
ReplyDeleteYou think we will get no snow, Andy? ;-)) Or you refuse to show it again!
ReplyDeleteRefuse to show again. I have had enough.

This reminds me of so many of our orange orchards. Urban sprawl crawls out and destroys the orchards and sometimes they will look like this for years before anything is built on the land. This is another super photograph!
ReplyDelete...well you finished the snow season in style my friend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a picturesque scene. I love that tree.
ReplyDeleteThat orchard could represent the apocalypse. Gnarly winter trees rock.
ReplyDeleteAn evocative, wistful kind of shot. I hope we'll see more snow!
ReplyDeleteEsperemos que llegue la primavera para que de sus hermosos frutos.. Un saludo.
ReplyDeleteWe both showed apple orchards today. Think your photo is a sad one with the gnarly apple tree in snow. Winter gets old this time of year, so I know just what you mean, but I am not giving up on snow just yet as we have another month of the stuff.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a desolate and devastated scene.
ReplyDeleteI just bought some apples this afternoon for my morning porridge.
I'm guessing an older variety by the size and lack of extreme pruning. Check on it when it blooms and let us know.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great photo, what is the building through the trees?
ReplyDeleteWhat you are seeing is the old farmhouse. I am still trying figure out if the house is occupied.
DeleteThanks Andy, it looks interesting!
DeleteSad sight. Nice setting though for a good photo.
ReplyDeleteThat tree does NOT look happy at all. Interesting image though!
ReplyDeleteoh that's a bit sad, we need more trees and fruit trees out there in the world.
ReplyDeleteIt has a dramatic feel to it this photo.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful shot. We've had virtually no snow compared to you but I can certainly appreciate your "enough" sentiment.
ReplyDeleteLonesome tree. Look forward to your spring photos.
ReplyDeleteFamous last words: "Last photo with snow." Hah! You live in Canada, Andy.
