This is one of the best portrait murals I have seen. Unfortunately the building is slated to be demolished and condos will be built on the site. |

An artist who drew and paints his street and his portrait, it is a beautiful idea. Excellent photo
ReplyDeleteI agree it's a wonderful portrait. Let's hope it will stay there for a while.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing well done indeed. What an artist!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if a modern condo get such a decoration when the building is stil fresh.
ReplyDeleteOne would think that they could save the wall?? But that is money and money is always a problem.
ReplyDeleteIt's not good to be demolished. The man who sees the whole street will disappear...
ReplyDelete...nice view from condo world.
ReplyDeleteI like this one too, Andy! Looks like it is an Elicser.
ReplyDeletePowerful for sure!
ReplyDeleteAnd no condo developer will trouble themselves with preserving it.
ReplyDeleteI hate that when it happens. Maybe like the artist who did the three birds mural here, they will ask to have something done for the new building. It wouldn't be the same but it would be a recognition of the importance of the art.
ReplyDeleteNice perspective, Andy. I like how the street in the mural lines up with the real street.
ReplyDeleteI love murals paintings, this is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot.

Divagar Sobre Tudo um Pouco
Oh that's a bit sad it'll be gone soon cos it's pretty good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame this will be demolished. One tiny consolation is that at least you've recorded it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. At least you have captured it before it is to be demolished.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, but I expect progress has to continue.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed well-painted. Now your photograph is the permanent record.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good mural. Sad to see art like this disappear.
