...and who knows, the three may be texting each other, this is a strange world!
ReplyDeleteNobody anymore communicates, excepted with its such motive ... Excellent photo
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marie, there is no real communication between people anymore, everybody is in his own bubble. A sad sign of this time.
ReplyDeleteCount me number 4 this past week while keeping adult children in the loop.
ReplyDeleteSo typical of these times.
ReplyDeleteWe live in a strange world now that people can't just talk to each other
ReplyDeleteA good catch, Andy! Remember when people spoke to each other? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a common sight these days.
ReplyDelete"All right, hands Up! Drop those phones! Don't move a muscle. Up against the wall! Now, we're going to wait for 15 minutes to see if the world comes to an end. If not, you can get your phones and hop on a train."
ReplyDeleteThe people in your photo seem to be connected to everything but their own environment. There is a sadness to your image.
ReplyDeleteAt least they're mindful enough to stay far back away from the edge.
ReplyDeleteI'm still hooked on face-to-face talking but while traveling lately my phone has helped me manage all the details and send pictures to friends (who I otherwise talk to).
ReplyDeleteHow is to possible that a device meant for communication is quickly isolating us?
ReplyDeletePrisoners of technology, forgetting how beautiful the world around them is...
ReplyDeleteI see this so much, and then have to remind myself to put my phone down for a bit.
ReplyDeleteEveryone nearly does this these days - and I'm trying to think what we all did before, just stared into space when alone I expect.
ReplyDelete... and absolutely no eye-contact with a living, breathing person.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't used to bother me, but now--- I want to throttle them all. I want to scream, WAKE UP!
ReplyDeleteEn un mundo supuestamente hiperconectado me da la impresión que en realidad estamos sufriendo un autismo tecnológico, cada vez más aislados y encerrados en nosotros mismos.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo,
Nicely composed. In situations like this, when I am by myself, it does seem like a good time to catch up. Guilty as charged.
