What a wonderful capture. Such delicate wings and the dotted eyes.
ReplyDeleteReally nice macro shot. Congrats Andy.
ReplyDeleteAh, but there are photographs and photographs Andy- this is superb!
ReplyDeleteah, he posed for you!
ReplyDeletegreat focus!
Aren't those enclosure surrounded by butterflies a fantastic experience? My heart flutters with their movement and wings.
ReplyDeleteI have been to a similar place in Key West, FL. It's an amazing experience. SO many beautiful butterflies and they are easier to photograph here than in the wild. THis is a stunning shot. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you go up there for the 'big tightrope walk' Andy?
ReplyDeleteI missed out on that. Maybe it will now encourage more daredevils to perform their feats at the Falls.
DeleteWonderful that the butterfly posed so nicely for you. His portrait is superb.
ReplyDeleteA captive subject!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely shot. I'm wondering the same as Wayne. Did you watch the walk?
ReplyDeleteEasy to find a subject maybe, but not everyone can take a shot like that. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEasy to spot them maybe, but not so easy to get such a good photo...excellent.
ReplyDeleteI must say this is one glorious shot!
