Signs, Signs - Gas Price

Andy | Wednesday, June 20, 2012 | Best Blogger Tips

It's me in the Go Transit train station with this week's sign about gas prices. That's one thing we all agree about... we are being gouged at the pumps. I'm linking to Lesley's Signs, Signs.

  2. haha.
no one is at the station with you except the one taking the photo. You'd think more people would be there because of the gas prices?

    1. I guess I should explain. At this time of day (2:07 pm) the trains run hourly and one had just departed on the hour. Travel in the rush hour and the trains are packed.

  5. I wish our gas prices (central Indiana) would *only* raise 2.5 cents. More like they raise 25 cents and only drop 1 or 2 cents. If we had alternative transportation available, I'd use it.

    1. In Canada gasoline is sold by the litre. One US gallon = 3.7 litres.

  6. Supposedly it went down 2 cents/litre last night. I haven't looked to see if it was true.

  7. Our petrol prices share the same story! Guaranteed that on public holidays - especially long weekends - the prices mysteriously soar (or that could be "sore" too!) You adopt a great worn and frustrated pose!

  8. Cool sign! Did you have someone else take the picture, or did you use a tripod and timer?

  9. Great idea. If i took this, I'd be inclined to make a rude gesture towards the gas price sign. Thankfully, our prices have dropped of late.

  12. Trains are a great way to travel and commute, and I would use them if they were available around here. We have trains, but not for people, just grain, coal, and freight. Great shot.

  13. We gave up worrying about it and purchased a Prius. One of the best decisions we ever made.
