This picture reminds me of my life growing up on the Atlantic and Lake Worth in Palm Beach, Florida. Our lived revolved around sailing but it LITTLE sailboats. Where I attended boarding school, we sailed everyday after classes and it was such fun. Then though I did not think about the beauty around me...just the fun I was having. To this day adore looking at sailboats large and small plopped there between the water and the sky. So beautiful. This is a lovely capture...wonderful colors. genie
ReplyDeleteHow peaceful and tranquil, I feel more calm looking at this.
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo Beautiful Andy. Looks like an oil painting.
ReplyDeleteI was able to capture some spring today in my blog . This is a welcome Spring!
On the water.
A fabulous shot, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean by lighting. This is an awesome shot. It's also a very beautiful sail boat.
ReplyDeleteBathed in golden light, this sailboat glows. Your heart must have soared with pleasure in capturing this image.
ReplyDeleteOh gorgeous! I so miss being near real water like this, and seeing sailboats drifting along.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Andy. Almost looks like a painting..
ReplyDeletePerfectly beautiful.. that golden hour.
ReplyDeleteNice light. To me, it is a miracle that boats float and that cloth can propel them. It is on a par with the idea of airplanes flying.
ReplyDeleteIt's a man made miracle Jack.
DeleteA very nice image indeed Andy
ReplyDeleteOne of your best. Great lighting.
ReplyDeleteJack, the light is gorgeous. That boat looks like a 43 foot Hunter, a comfortable cruising sailboat. BTW, airplanes fly and sailboats sail because of Bernoulli's principle, and a bit of faith.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I have a weakness for sailboats.
