I thought I spied boots on the bridesmaids. Oh my goodness - I am loving those boots!
ReplyDeleteI like it when people are practical. Why not save the pretty ones for the party.
ReplyDeleteA sensible choice of the two girls.
ReplyDeleteLove those boots!
ReplyDeleteI spy boots also on the Bride. How about that.
ReplyDeleteWith this weather of rain and storms come upon us at any time even a brides wedding
we have to be practical. I love the pretty brides dress. Very Victorian.
Brides are funny that way. Point a camera and they smile.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you didn't take this down in Texas?
I"m amazed she wore boots with her dress!
ReplyDeleteI guess she's proud of those boots of hers. Something to be a little different, no?
ReplyDeleteA Western style wedding! Is she walking the bridle path or the bridal path? ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, you caught my attention with this photo. There's an awful lot in it. I like how the bridge rail runs down the left side. Carrying the skirt is interesting. There are no other people to help this poor girl. Boots? Doesn't surprise me.
ReplyDeleteTrust you to find two parts of a booted wedding party, Andy! Where was everyone else? Were they wearing boots, too? I thought only Conservative and conservative Alberta brides wore boots. Now I know.
ReplyDeleteK
Kay you are right about Albertans. They also did not like two dollar bills when we had them.
DeleteCoincidence. Two summers ago I was at the Mississippi River photographing the sites. Then a wedding party shows up for their photoshoot with a wedding photographer. I snapped this shot of a groomsman escorting two bride maids coming towards me. They too did not mind.
