The Bride Wore Boots

Continuing from yesterday's posting. I was standing on the bridge trying to photograph the water below when the bride began walking towards me. She didn't mind one bit that I was photographing her.

  3. I spy boots also on the Bride. How about that.

With this weather of rain and storms come upon us at any time even a brides wedding

we have to be practical. I love the pretty brides dress. Very Victorian.

  4. Brides are funny that way. Point a camera and they smile.

  8. Well, you caught my attention with this photo. There's an awful lot in it. I like how the bridge rail runs down the left side. Carrying the skirt is interesting. There are no other people to help this poor girl. Boots? Doesn't surprise me.

  9. Trust you to find two parts of a booted wedding party, Andy! Where was everyone else? Were they wearing boots, too? I thought only Conservative and conservative Alberta brides wore boots. Now I know.

    1. Kay you are right about Albertans. They also did not like two dollar bills when we had them.

  10. Coincidence. Two summers ago I was at the Mississippi River photographing the sites. Then a wedding party shows up for their photoshoot with a wedding photographer. I snapped this shot of a groomsman escorting two bride maids coming towards me. They too did not mind.
