Someone at Nautical Village is making good use of well used brightly coloured bikes.

  3. somebody was leaving orange painted bikes all around st pete a few months ago, always wondered if it was some kind of art project, now red ones showing up in your neighborhood?

  6. I like this kind of thing. It makes good use of a used artifact and is very bright and cheery.

  8. A couple of years ago there was a "Good Bike" project here in Toronto where bikes were painted and left in various locations that had a happy time associated with them. I think most of the bikes are long gone.

  11. There is a project in the Midwest to place a bike painted all white in the location where a car has killed a bicyclist. Unfortunately I have seen white bike memorials in a number of locations. They are reminders for motorists to share the road to avoid tragedy.
