    1. It's not as far as you think. I'm using a wide angle lens and it pushes the background further back than it really looks.

  2. That is nice, I didn't know Toronto had a tramway.

  4. Your comments about your new lens interest me. . .I'll have to read more about wide-angle lenses.

  5. Your photo confirms that there is a lot of architectural contrast in the city.

  6. I'm impressed with the streetcars system in Toronto. If passengers had to cross a traffic lane to get onboard a streetcar in Vancouver I think there'd be carnage. As a group Vancouver drivers aren't all that attentive.

I heard a while back that the Red Rocket would be replaced with low floor streetcars but I didn't see any on my last visit.

  7. Not enough trams in most of the States, love the iconic red.

  8. There are streetcars in San Francisco, where I grew up. Green and cream colored. I can still hear their clattering on the street - a line ran a half block from our house and I took it daily as a teen to my part time job. The city still has them, including vintage "historic" ones that look mighty similar to the ones I rode.

  10. If I had to run for public transportation, I wouldn't make it, but I can admire your photo, Andy. Good work!

  14. Nice shot. Did you hear Andy the policeofficer has got charged with second degree murder for the shooting the teen on the streetcar or bus who had the knife. He shot not once but the kid like 9 times.

This pix made me think of it. Toronto is not the same quiet Toronto we knew right Andy?

    2. You cannot live in the GTA and not heard that story.
No matter what happens, there won't be a happy ending.
