Photographed Aug. 8, 2013. Artist: Allan Bender and John Nobrega of Blinc Studios. Located at Queen St. West and Denison Ave., in The City Of Toronto this mural has been photographed many times, including one by RedPat. The interesting thing I noticed about this mural is that the streetcar doors are on the wrong side. In North America all driving is done on the right hand side of the road and the driver's seat is on the left.

Great mural Andy.
ReplyDeleteBut door left or right I like this mural Andy.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that I didn't catch the door detail. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteIt probably says something about the origins of the person who made the mural.
ReplyDeleteI understand your frustration as a former driver but the image is anyway very nice done.
ReplyDeleteso colorful, i love murals!!!!
ReplyDeletevery nice mural - and good catch! I probably wouldn't have noticed the door.
ReplyDeleteI marvel at the ability to paint something like that, thanks for sharing, it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean about the driver. That is a wonderful mural, very realistic. Too bad some thoughtless taggers had to leave their marks.
ReplyDeleteI love urban art :)
ReplyDeleteI never caught the door problem, Andy! You are the expert on these streetcars! Nice pic. Too bad there has ben a little tagging.
ReplyDeleteI like that one a lot, Andy! It's quite a standout.
ReplyDeleteIt's nicely done even if there's artistic license with the driver/door side.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great mural! I wouldn't have noticed the door issue.
ReplyDeleteNow you see Andy, this is exactly how it should be to me :) it's a fantastic mural.
