Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThese look like Hosta to me or perhaps tulips???
ReplyDeleteFor me it looks a bit like aliens taking over the earth or suddenly dragons tooth growing in the backyard but it becomes lovely flowers indeed.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to be in a hurry to see you.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteJust like clockwork! Mine are sprouting, too!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to see anything poking out of the ground. Well it's hard to find the ground in many spots. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteOh good, spring is at work!
ReplyDeleteYou see the most interesting things to photograph. I would have just passed this one up. Well done.
ReplyDeleteOur soil remains hidden under the snow, so you're ahead of what it is like here.
ReplyDeleteWilliam you live in Ottawa. That is only few clicks away from the North Pole. You will still be thawing out in June. :)
DeleteAndy, your spring has sprung earlier than here. Our snow is going, at least for now, but nothing is growing yet. The grass is still brown. Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see, Andy!
ReplyDeleteMine are under 6" of fresh snow.
ReplyDeleteI live further north than you and one would think that should make for more snow for me. Not this winter. It was the east coast that took the brunt of winter.
DeleteThat must be a welcome sight Andy!
ReplyDeleteI love those first sprouts. Love the red coloring!
ReplyDeleteYAY!
ReplyDeletewe had 5 inches of snow last night!!! i have to brush the snow away to see mine!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are the most precious finds one could find under a melted snow. Happy Spring!
