March
(31)
I feel sorry for you because here the temperatures are often above 10° C already. But it cannot take a longer hold now being officially spring already.
ReplyDeleteUgh - I'm with you, and normally I like winter - but enough! I do love your photo, though, ice and all...
ReplyDeletePoor you, keep going, it will come to an end ever....
ReplyDeleteLake Simcoe usually still has ice this time of year but I guess Lake Ontario unfreezes a lot sooner. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI know! I am with you.
ReplyDeleteNeat shot, Andy. I hope spring shows up there soon- it has here and we've already had three severe storm warnings, and a tornado or two in the northern part of the state. I'm not ready for that part of the season.
ReplyDeleteI'll sweat a little for you this morning, when I walk the pups.
ReplyDeleteoohhhh i feel you....but it did make for an amazing image!!! i might like tulips better, YeP, tulips would be better!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a strange winter. And spring. You have late spring (?) and we have early. Here the sea has been already open for a many weeks, but in normal winters ice has yet been able to walk and ski. Small lakes are still frozen as you also have. This photo is lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt's strange that winter is hanging on up there and we started having very warm temperatures back in February. The weather patterns are truly messed up.
ReplyDeleteI guarantee that it will disappear really fast once the first warm day heads up your way. We are getting spring here in the mid-Atlantic right now and next week may be even warmer. hang in there!
ReplyDeleteWe have had weeks of above freezing temperatures, but the ice on local lakes continues. I can feel the cold radiating off this lake.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, buddy, although you have it much worse. We're finally above freezing. On the plus side, it's a gorgeous view.
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you, though that's a beautiful scene!
ReplyDeleteIt's stubbornly hanging on here too. A pretty shot!
ReplyDeleteCold still looks.
ReplyDeleteFresh beautiful picture.
Greeting
Lovely picture Andy, so simple it doesn't need anything else..
ReplyDeleteWill it ever thaw!! Will we have spring or directly to summer?
ReplyDeleteWell neighbour (relatively speaking) we're seemingly both in the same boat, although I don't have the spectacular shot you took. Looking good, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThis cold business is getting a bit tiresome....more so for some.
ReplyDeleteNicely composed photo! Do me a favor and send some of that cold weather to S CA... much too warm here for March!!
ReplyDeleteit's hanging on here too...but next week looks very promising!
