Pity that it is necessary. Now hoping that it will help.
ReplyDeleteFor me every day such be forest day. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of that day, but I like forests and your photo of it.
ReplyDeleteYou found a pretty one there! Looks like the last bit of snow might melt with that sun!
ReplyDeletePretty spots of melting snow, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that the international day of forests was a thing but it seems like a good thing to get behind. I love this photo too!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go kiss a tree. I promise. No. Really. I'm a tree lover.
ReplyDeleteA good day to celebrate our dependence on trees!
ReplyDeleteA fitting choice for today, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of celebrating forests, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI too didn't know about this day! Great idea to raise awareness. Top photo too.
ReplyDeleteForests are the lungs of our earth. Sounds like a good idea.
ReplyDeleteIt shouldn't be only in a day of course but realistically speaking, it is good that there is one day when all people are reminded by it.
ReplyDeleteThat particular day slipped by me, a lover of trees. Good photo with melting snow, still hanging around.
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed that I didn't know this date I will put it on my calendar so I can spend some time appreciating them next year.
ReplyDeleteI too wish I had mentioned this date on my blog. We live next to the Kettle Moraine State Forest in Wisconsin...one of my very favorite places to be.
