Butt Out

Discarded cigarette butts (mainly the filter) are a form of non-biodegradable litter. Carried as runoff from streets to drains, to rivers, and ultimately to the ocean and its beaches. Cigarette butts and cigar tips, an emerging concern. It is unsightly, costly to clean up, and harmful to waterways and wildlife. One of solutions are butt receptacles like this one.

  2. This is great! I see so many cigarette butts on the streets indeed, because everybody is smoking outside nowadays.This is the solution.

  3. Smoking is a dirty business for one's health and that of the environment. Hopefully smokers will use those receptacles!

  5. We have too few ashtrays and it shows in every corner and streets.
    They should be a very lot in everywhere, It is another matter, then it's who they are emptied.

  10. Another solution is for people to not smoke. Xrays of my mother's lungs after a lifetime of smoking might help do the trick...

  11. If people have to smoke, I am glad that things like this are available, but I see far too many smokers who just flick their butts onto the ground.
