Somebody must have had a real appetite for gables in this house.
So sad to see all those characteristic houses have to go for urban expansion. Those trees cutting is a hobby of the municipality here too....
It's the same in Asia, our local municipals seems like cutting trees a lot too.

It's sort of sad in a way.
Beautiful light on this scene of destruction and decay. It is often easier to build a new house than renovate an old one, but it all comes down to the bottom line.
Lets hope the home knew a lot of laughter and happiness inside.
That is sad, particularly since it gets replaced by endless tracts of five variations on the same house.

Hate to see a tree cut down. Let's hope there's a plan to replace it.
