Or to keep yourself dry. The atmosphere in this photo is terrific Andy. The art is not to let it rain in your head and by thinking out this kind of shot it is certainly not.
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteDon't get depressed Andy, it will stop once....
ReplyDelete...I was out yesterday in an unending rain taking shots from under my umbrella.
ReplyDeleteSnow today? Great photo!!
ReplyDeleteA fantastic stereo-telling photo.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the Henry was a wise man but, there really isn't much else one can do when it comes to rain. I hope it slows down soon.
ReplyDeletevery nice..
ReplyDeletegreetings
wow! LOVE IT! perfect composition, perfect hue, perfect silhouette and, because of the darkness, light and curtain I am imagining a subject waiting/watching a theater play. which life is.
ReplyDeleteThis is all so sad!
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot!
ReplyDeleteI was out in it this morning taking shots of the flood conditions on the rivers.
Nothing to do about it. But it will end!
ReplyDeleteAndy, rainy days come and go and again will nice sunny day. This is an incredible photograph! A masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteThe days will get brighter, hang in there Andy.
ReplyDeleteWell, he was quite right about that! We're finally managing to string a few rainless days together here-- Expecting more by Wednesday night. Enough is enough. I like your picture a whole bunch, Andy.
ReplyDeleteOur rain finally stopped today. The sun came out and we hadn't seen it in days!
ReplyDeleteDoes this ever convey a mood! And, unfortunately, it's not a very happy one.
ReplyDeleteSo sad..
ReplyDeleteIt is so powerful.
ReplyDeleteVery fine, Andy. Everybody can take photographs in sunshine, but creating a good image of a dreary rainy mood is something different.
