I hope he can make his music so that people will stop and listen.
ReplyDelete...Canada is the 'melting pot.'
ReplyDeleteNo... USA is the melting pot. Canada is multicultural.
DeletePoor boy, I bet he wpuld prefer to play in a band and a music hall.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of street entertainers but Buskers is a new term for me. He picked a good spot to be heard.
ReplyDeleteRe your response to Tom: The USA has become the land run by crackpots. Re this shot: the busker is giving it his all. But what a tough way to make a living. There's a lot of freedom but not much security as you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteLove your busy street scene. This busker does not seem to be attracting much attention. Use to have Nebraska friends who were street buskers on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. They called themselves the Charlie Starkweather Blues Band.
ReplyDeleteWe don't see these buskers here in Phoenix but, I've certainly seem them in other cities. The only one I can think of is a lady who sings outside of Symphony Hall whenever there is a performance there. This guy looks like he might be pretty good at it.
ReplyDeleteI definitely don't think of them as panhandlers. This one looks like quite a character.
ReplyDeleteI noticed in Ireland that the quality of buskers was very good!
ReplyDeleteLost in his own space. Quite the street scene.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he is really into his music.
ReplyDeleteI'd imagine this is a good way to keep in practice but it's got to be hard putting out ones art to be just part of the background.
ReplyDeleteWe have similar rules in our city but we don't often see a busker.
ReplyDeleteNice capture..
I hope people support him and give him enough money
ReplyDeleteLove.
ReplyDeleteLots of action in the shot showing great diversity. That's a tough way to make a living.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Andy!
