Great shot with that speedy waterflow. Hope Canada get a grip on all those flooding because the long therm forecast for the weather is not so good seen from the point of the climate change.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds not good, to much rains causes much floodings.
ReplyDelete...and it's still raining as I write, perhaps snow tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn´t sound good at all. It must be very scary for those who have to leave their homes.
ReplyDeleteInteresting name for a creek. I heard yesterday Lake Erie is up 2 inches which seems like alot for a big lake. Be safe out there with your camera.
ReplyDeleteWell, I wish you could send us some rain and we could send you some sunshine! It's very dry here and getting worse. I see you slowed down the shutter speed to get that smooth water. Nice! I do hate, hate, hate, all that graffiti, though. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteyikes, stay safe!
ReplyDeleteThis culvert could be a problem over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe flooding is bad up in the Ottawa Valley too- a note in the morning paper says the river's to rise up to 35 cms this weekend before it finally crests. More bad news downstream for Montreal.
I knew they were having these issues in Missouri and Arkansas but, I didn't know about the same thing being and issue up that way. I feel very bad for those displaced by high water.
ReplyDeleteIt's not nice to hear that you have a lot of rain. Hope it gets stop sometime.
ReplyDeleteLove the slower shutter speed, giving the feeling of the water swirling and rushing. I can second Lowell's comment! We really need rain in Florida! Wish we could swap weather patterns for a bit.
ReplyDeleteFrightening photo then in several ways.
ReplyDeleteAndy, this is a great photo. Please be careful when you are out and about.
ReplyDeleteHey--- weather change is a myth, right? Sheesh/
ReplyDeleteThat does not sound good about the flooding and excess rain. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that! I hope you get a patch of drier weather soon so things can get more normal. Our latest storm dumped fresh snow in the mountains - down to probably about 2500 to 3000 feet (750 to 900 meters).
