What a nice gesture.
ReplyDeleteIts a nice gesture that I like to see also here in the Netherlands.
ReplyDelete...wow, $1200!
ReplyDeleteA nice initiative. We have that here too.
ReplyDeleteExpensive, but a nice gesture. Love your photo. That's putting the subject up front and cropping out all the unnecessary stuff!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a wonderful tribute to a loved one. I saw a lot of these types of benches in London last year.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea. Although someone has passed, anyone can take rest or comfort in their memory. I always stop to read the inscriptions.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same program here, and benches are popping up left and right. Lots of benches, few people using them.
ReplyDeleteIt's a program we see here as well, though I didn't know about the price.
ReplyDeleteI saw these plaque installatios in the benches for the first time in Germany many years ago. It is, in my opinion, a wonderful way to donate a bench. We do not have this way, and there are often insufficient benches when the city has not put them in place after the winter.
ReplyDeleteThe price is pretty expensive, I did not know it.
What a great program. People get benches in public parks, the city benefits, and the flowers are a sweet gesture.
ReplyDeleteA nice tribute.
ReplyDeleteInteresting program. Love the framing of this shot to include the flowers close up and the water in the background.
ReplyDeleteyes I think that's a lovely idea, I've seen it in a few places here too mostly on public seats or benches.
ReplyDeleteUna imagen de belleza espectacular... Muy buena
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely idea.
