Food vendors are part of the decor of any large city. ____ |
Behind every hot dog counter is a face. You can find this gentleman working the food cart in Toronto on the north east corner Spadina Ave., and Queen St., West. |
Its a pity we don't have that in Amsterdam. Has to do with permits I think.
ReplyDeleteAlso permits and red tape here.
Delete...colorful, harding working guys!
ReplyDeleteWe have similar vendors all over in Berlin. They carry the hot dog grills on their chests with a strap. A funny sight, if you're not used to it!
ReplyDeleteYes that is a typical streetview of a wellknown business.
ReplyDeleteNice portrait, he has a friendly face.
ReplyDeleteHe was very friendly when I asked him to pose for the photograph.
DeleteNice shots. That man has a kind face.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have those food things in our city, have a few in the evening selling food on side of road in a designated area.
Excelentes trabajos... Muy naturales...
ReplyDeleteSaludos
A staple here in the US as well, the last photo is a great portrait
ReplyDeleteLove your photos, Andy. I like the way you process them. It looks to me like you deleted some colors in that first shot and then enhanced the red. Whatever it's very effective. I think if I were there I have a sausage. And we really don't need any more Canadians down here in the winter. My god, they take over the place now! Nah, just kidding, but I do see a lot of Ontario plates. We used to live in south Florida, near Hollywood beach and that area would get up to 300,000 Canadians every winter, most of whom were from Quebec. It was startling to walk along the beach and hear country music being sung in French in the bars along the boardwalk.
ReplyDeleteI see food carts in Minneapolis from time to time, but they are absent around here. Fine shots.
ReplyDeleteThat one in the top photo is a pretty deluxe hot dog cart! I haven't seen a cart like these in along time.
ReplyDeleteThe first one looks like it's at City Hall.
ReplyDeleteI've bought from this guy on Spadina!
ReplyDeleteSame as in New York. on every corner!
ReplyDeleteA bit overwhelming!
