Due to winter ice build up it becomes very hazardous to walk out here. Thanks to a couple days with above freezing temperatures most of the ice has melted making the walk a bit more safer. |

Magnificent perspective and lovely soft colors. I like this photo
ReplyDeleteIt still looks a bit icy on the ground.
ReplyDeleteChoosing the broad water gives always a nice view with or without icy conditions.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty narrow entrance, I suppose it freezes over? Nice perspective.
ReplyDeleteStill looks cold to go walking along there, hate to fall in
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure where this is, Andy, but it's the kind of place I would want to visit...but definitely not with ice underfoot. Glad you're safe.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very cold walk out there regardless.
ReplyDeleteThis still looks like a cold walk. Use to live near Lake Michigan and the piers there were similar, always cooler than along the shore.
ReplyDeleteYou could slide from one end to the other and right out to sea! Nice shot, Andy.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine that would get treacherous under winter conditions.
ReplyDeleteThe ocean song attracts people's thoughts. An image with style.
ReplyDeleteIt would be cold out there today, Andy!
ReplyDeleteAs I age I find that if there's a way to fall on my head, I'll find it.... Neat picture!
ReplyDeleteMuy bonita con una buena composición y encuadre, que le da una gran profundidad a la fotografía.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
...looks about the same on this side of the pond.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like of those places the waves crash up and over in a storm.
ReplyDeleteGood perspective. I can see where that walkway could get very treacherous. I leads me to wonder if saltwater would get as icy under similar conditions...
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I like the leading lines out to the horizon.
ReplyDeleteFirst glance and I thought, oops what if someone fell over into the sea there, wouldn't be good at all.
ReplyDeleteGlad it was a bit safer than first glance.
