The beard is impressive and the character original
ReplyDeleteFather Christmas ingognito? I can't imagine this feels comfortable, all that hair on your face...
ReplyDeletePersonally I prefer the feel a clean shaved face.
ReplyDeleteAs long as he is happy with it.
ReplyDeleteEverything fits with his personality. Nice portrait Andy.
ReplyDelete...what a great looking fellow, could be my brother!
ReplyDeleteWell he's happy anyway
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a friendly fellow.
ReplyDeleteI wore a beard for many years but always kept it relatively short and neatly trimmed. This would drive me crazy! I'm seeing more and more of these faces left to fester these days, though. :) It's a very cool portrait, Andy!
ReplyDeleteAndy, this is a very powerful and stunning portrait!
ReplyDeleteThis man is full of life.
What a character you met...
That's serious commitment!
ReplyDeleteI like having facial hair, but I keep it quite trimmed.
Una barba che di certo non passa inossrvata...
ReplyDeleteBuona serata,silvia
He looks happy. That is an amazing beard.
ReplyDeleteUn interesante retrato el de ese curioso personaje.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo,
The surroundings are quite intriguing too, Andy!
ReplyDeleteImpressive beard! I wonder if it keeps his neck warm..
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks as if he's let his hair grow for that long, too. Are you going to do a men with beards series again, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting character in an equally interesting looking environment! Where did you encounter him? Nice portrait.
ReplyDeleteBut he seems happy.
ReplyDeleteGood shot.
A fine portrait.
