And you know what. Its works. Nice Andy.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful Andy!
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting tip!
ReplyDelete...I will try it!
ReplyDeleteF 8, iso 100, +1/2 exposure, measuring light and blocking exposure on snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture and good advise, Andy
ReplyDeleteThat's a very good tip and a wonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter scene! The ol' Sunny 16 rule is quite reliable.
ReplyDeleteworks like a champ and yields a perfect exposure of a beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look cold but don't be fooled. I'm liking the sun but this cold is too much, Andy!
ReplyDeleteSun and snow together it is always beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteA lovely scene!
ReplyDeletethe picture is beautiful andy, there is nothing prettier than snow, the day after. i use the auto setting on my camera, my hands are too shaky to use the manual setting!! but i do ok with it, nothing professional, My pictures are just for fun!!!
ReplyDeleteOr, you could just adjust the white balance. :) A fine photo, Andy! And it looks like you didn't have to get up too early to get the shot! That's a good thing!
ReplyDeleteyour photo is really great, everything is perfect about it. I'll try to remember this rule.
ReplyDeleteLooks so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteUsually, we also have snow, but now there is no snow in southern Finland (where I live), but there is a huge amount in the north.
Now it's all the time raining and it's gray.. :(.
A wonderful winter scene, Andy and a great tip to share. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteQuite a lovely scene, well done, bet you're loving the sunny day :-)
ReplyDeletePhotographing snow is not something I have ever had experience, but a good rule to remember. Beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteWell now I gotta try that-- next time we get some snow. And sun. Not always easy here.
ReplyDeleteGood shot! That rule should be simple to remember...emphasis on "should."
ReplyDeleteGee, I wish I knew that when I spent winters up north.
ReplyDeleteI will have to remember that rule!
