Looks very nice and modest to me.
ReplyDeleteI like discovering and knowing the details of the images which I view every day. Nice frame on the theater
ReplyDeleteAh, Miss Saigon I have seen in London with my daughter, long ago maybe in 1993 :)
ReplyDelete...Toronto has a long history of theater.
ReplyDeleteI saw Les Miserables there back in the late 90's when I was on a weekend trip to Toronto from Chicago. It was a production starring the original lead Colm Wilkinson. It was the highlight of the weekend trip and it wasn't even planned. It's a gorgeous theatre.
ReplyDeleteIt's very striking and you are gonna show us the lavish interior, right?
ReplyDeleteSo are you going to show us the inside?
ReplyDeleteI can't recall ever attending a performance or concert in there, though I've passed by it frequently.
ReplyDeleteThat is a large theater. Hope it remains successful, but I'm not sure I want to connect to my inner elf.
ReplyDeleteYou are right about the interior, Andy! The Frank Stella murals that cover the walls and ceilings are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteBTW, is this that "Elf" movie of a few years back starring that big tall bozo by name of Will Ferrell? It was an horrendously stupid movie...
ReplyDeleteA very impressive building.
ReplyDeletei'm sure it was quite impressive for it's time when it was first built though.
ReplyDeleteNice - there's nothing like a live performance.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful building and a great photo!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize there was such a dearth of theatre construction. I like the reflections you caught in this shot.
ReplyDeleteNeat building, would be cool to see the inside. The owners must have a deep love for the theater to build this place! Good for them!
