The black silhouettes make the whole a little sinister but I can imagine the joy of the kids using them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very nice photo!
ReplyDeleteThere's something about empty swings that almost feels sad. They make for a very interesting photo, though, and wow- what a nice view for the kids when they're swinging!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot!! One of my most favorite shots is of my daughter when she was around age one swinging in one of these...her face was full of freedom and pleasure...it was such a fun day for us.
ReplyDeleteMelancholy and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the mood you captured. I bet these swings will be full just as soon as the first bird starts tweeting in the spring. What a great location for a playground.
ReplyDeletenicely composed Andy

It's nice to see that the swings aren't full of snow and ice. There's a new crop of little ones growing like crazy to be big enough to swing here soon. And what a nice view they'll (and their swing pushers will) have.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Andy!
ReplyDeleteLove this one, and how you framed it! The way the weather's been, mild weather looks to be the status quo here this month. Such strangeness this season.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this image...brings back sweet memories of my children's childhoods.
