Oh my! I haven't read the books either. I understand the publishing house did so well with book sales this year, every employee received a sizeable Christmas bonus. My, how that author is helping the economy...even at the Stag Shop.
I haven't read it yet, but I know some women who have read it and loved it. As I understand things, it is exhilarating and freeing and a wonderful aphrodisiac. Sounds good to me!
I had to look aphrodisiac up in my Google dictionary. I admire you Lowell. You remind me so much of myself. Open minded and able to see humour in everything.
I tried to read it, but could not handle the language. My niece read all 3 books and said by the third there really is a plot. I could not make past the first few chapters of the first book. Do not think I would be shopping here. TOOOOOO OLD@! YOu never know what is going to appear on a billboard here in the USofA. genie
Hmmmm, no one willing to 'fess up to reading it ;-) honestly though, I haven't, either, not my type. Smart sign, though, because apparently the books are very popular.
I didn't read and I will not read it. I don't like hypes.

DeleteThey were certainly smart to tap into the latest reading craze...it annoyed me that family members who never read anything did read that book.

ReplyDeleteThe economy needs all the help it can get.

DeleteBuena foto...un abrazo desde Murcia...
ReplyDeleteTranslation: Good photo ... a hug from Murcia.
DeleteI have no plan to read this book. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Have not read it, but looks like these folks were wise to latch onto a good trend!
ReplyDeleteYep, they surely have a commercial eye!
ReplyDeleteVery funny! They hopped on the "Fifty Shades" bandwagon! There's a cookbook out called "Fifty Shades of Chicken - a parody in a cookbook"!
ReplyDeleteNo, I haven't read the book but my sister-in;law has and she does NOT like to read. Hmmmm. This sure is some sign! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! I'm so far out of the mainstream. I'm reading U.S. presidential biographies. I guess that qualifies for 50 shades of clueless.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how one piece of popularity has many spin offs and some pseudo advertising like this one! They are keeping their finger on the pulse!
ReplyDeleteNice tie-in to a sales phenomonen.
ReplyDeleteThere's something for everybody- and the photo is well wired too!
ReplyDeleteAnd everyone - everyone - gets the reference, whether they read the book or not!

ReplyDeleteAndy, can I skip reading the book and just go to the stag shop? I'm a visual kind of guy . . .
ReplyDelete50 shades mania is everywhere. Nice pic.
